USCABA’s strategic work is organized around the following focus areas:
- Regulatory and legislative engagement. Maintain informed relationships with Congress, FAA, DOT, TSA, DHS, CBP, and other agencies that affect commercial aviation.
- Consistency and timely decisions. Document recurring barriers, support clear national interpretation, and promote predictable review and decision processes.
- Safety and practical compliance. Provide tools, briefings, education, and shared practices that help members meet requirements in a manner appropriate to their size, scope, and risk.
- Business continuity and industry capacity. Address conditions that delay certification, aircraft use, repair station growth, workforce availability, infrastructure access, and reliable service.
- Market integrity and public confidence. Support lawful commercial operations, responsible business practices, and clear understanding of the value delivered by compliant operators and repair stations.
- Workforce and leadership development. Support recruitment, training, retention, professional development, and the future leadership pipeline for flight, maintenance, safety, and management roles.
- Strategic partnerships. Engage manufacturers, airports, finance companies, insurers, technology providers, training organizations, suppliers, and service users whose businesses depend on a strong Part 135 and Part 145 system.
